SDS has the necessary skills to tailor solutions to suit customers, whether it’s a one person school in outback Queensland or a large government department situated within the Brisbane CBD.
SDS has put together a specialist team to consult with you at your workplace. Our design and projects service provides expert advice and consultation from start to finish. We offer innovative ideas on colour, textile and furnishing selection, ensuring functionality for your workspace.
Once your project is underway our team of project coordinators will become your sole point of contact for the management of your furniture installation.
This team coordinates everything you require including the procurement of goods, delivery schedules and installation needs, making it easy for you to check on progress.
Experience
SDS has considerable experience in undertaking large-scale projects from the selection of furniture and colour through to placement on site, when and where they are required.
Some of our customers:
- Department of Education and Training
SDS has been successful in winning the contract with DET for the supply of approx. 900 Preparatory year furniture kits to schools throughout Queensland. These kits will be supplied over a period of two years with a value of approx. $4m. The furniture being supplied is education furniture including student tables and chairs, as well as fridges and stoves.
- Department of Premier and Cabinet
This department has utilised SDS services for their furniture requirements over the past two years and, in that time, have fitted out numerous floors and offices.
SDS has recently completed the supply and installation of furniture to the council premises, which included fit out of work stations and shelving at a value of approx. $200,000.
SDS managed an aged care program incorporating 11 new aged care facilities across Queensland. This contract is worth approx $5m.Products that SDS supplies as part of the contract range from soft furnishings such as curtains and partitioning, specialised hospital equipment such as wheelchairs, patient baths, hoists etc and regular furniture items such as visitor and lounge seating, dining tables and chairs and outdoor furniture. |
